More than ten years ago, this community did not begin with a website, a logo, or a formal structure. It began with conversations. With questions whispered between Thai women far from home. With shared meals, shared worries, shared laughter, and the quiet reassurance of knowing you are not alone.

Over the years, Thai women across Europe found one another — in different cities, different countries, different stages of life — yet bound by familiar roots and similar journeys. We supported each other through adaptation, change, motherhood, careers, loss, growth, and rediscovery.
Slowly, almost invisibly, a network was woven: strong, compassionate, and resilient.

This website arrives not as a beginning, but as a home finally given a door and windows. It is a place where our stories can be seen, where our experiences can be honoured, and where future generations of Thai women in Europe can find guidance, courage, and belonging.

International Thai Women in Europe (ITWE)

International Thai Women in Europe (ITWE) is an independent, non-profit network established by Thai women living across Europe.

ITWE serves as a unifying platform to celebrate, empower, and advance the role of Thai women within European societies and the global community.

Inspired by International Women's Day (8 March), ITWE was founded on the shared vision that Thai women in Europe should have a dedicated space to connect, exchange knowledge, elevate leadership, and collectively contribute to social, cultural, and economic development—both locally and internationally.

Thai women in Europe have long demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and professional excellence. They actively contribute to European societies while preserving and promoting Thailand's rich cultural heritage. ITWE reflects this evolving global role—where cultural identity, women's rights, dignity, and innovation move forward together.
